I know that Tito retired and that he's in a different weight, but honestly, who would win? Represent Puerto Rico baby!!!

Tito would win by KO. Tito would over power Cotto. Cotto doesn't know how to fight in retreat and Tito punches 2X as hard as Cotto ever did. Tito would stalk him and take him out mid rounds. I know Cotto is good but his style doesn't work against some crazy puncher like Tito.

I cant believe that people are saying that Cotto has a good chin, have you not been watching his fights, i would say he has good heart because against Torres and Corley he was all but out on his feet in both fights and he came back and won the fights which is exactly what Tito used to do he may of been put on the canvas in a lot of his fights but he never lost by KO and only got TKO'd by B-Hop in the 12th of a gruelling title fight, Tito might not of had the best chin but his heart could not be questioned. Tito would absolutely destroy Cotto if we are going on what we have seen from Cotto so far, it would be a complete war while it lasted but a mismatch. Early KO by Trinidad.
If you ask this question again in 5 years though it could be a completely different matter, Cotto is definitely improving with every fight and i would say that as long as he can keep his chin tucked in he is going to the top of the fight game, he really is a class act, you cant argue with the promise he has shown he is a truly talented individual who has the scope to become one of the best of alltime. Which Felix Trinidad already is.

Tito for sure! He punches way to hard for Cotto, who was almost knocked out by Demarcus Corley so you know what Tito would do to him. If Tito got him hurt like that you best believe that he would finish him. Cotto would be right there for Tito to hit cause he doesn't have the speed and movement to stay out of range from Tito's bombs. Probably would be a carbon copy of Tito and Mayorga, a slugfest but Tito's power proving to be the difference resulting in a stoppage for Tito.

Yeah Tito would KO Cotto,every chance Cotto drops Tito first as we seen it happen to Tito a fair bit in his career to lesser fighters than Miguel but most of the dudes who answered this already are totally correct Tito is too strong and too big a puncher,we've seen guy's like Torres,Corley and N'dou really hurt Cotto,imagine what Tito would do to him,I'd say KO in 5.

Dont get all nostalgic about Felix Trinidad. We all remember when he was getting knocked down then getting back up and knocking fighters silly. But that was a long time ago. He was exposed in his "win" against Oscar DeLaHoya but he was forever damaged after Bernard Hopkins destroyed him. I think Cotto will out work him and win by either a late-round KO or Unanimous decision.
