my friends and i r goin ice scatin this weecend and my bf is goin to be there he says hes never been ice scatin b4 and he will be embarrassed if he messes up. what should i do to hep him ice scate??

teach him it will be fun and interesting and maybe he can teach you something back it would be fun and interesting and cute and i mean you can nvr know and have fun moments together

if you can skate this is an chance to hold the guys hand.
also take him to a less used part of the ice and let him fall down and whatever there . no matter how bad i mean even if you think he must be the worst skater that the world has ever seen you say to him . things like your doing really well and so on.
smile laugh and have fun. oh one more thing not a joke at all a really serious thing suggest he borrow a helmet from someone who plays hockey and that he wear it with the strap done up.
if he doesn't know anyone yip pi another chance for you to score with him find out what guy perhaps your brother or his friends have one ask him to meet up with you and you will take him to the place to see if the helmet fits. saves his head and gives you a chance to be alone and get into his head. wow i have more to write since this boy will remember the day he first tried to skate for the rest of his life . if you have a camera take it along and get someone to take a pic of you and him together as you help him
the boy will become an old man 80 or 90 years old and he will still remember and refer to the day he had some cute fun nice girl attempt to teach him to skate. this will be one of the stories he will tresure that much. be really really nice to him.

scating would be ppoping, I would thing the poiint of ice scating would be to mess up. not sure though.
If you mean skating, thats different.
its al about balance and coordination, similar to rollerblading, but not the same, do rollerblading to practice.

Best thing you can do for him is to be patient with him and not laugh at him. Give him some encouragement. One the same token he needs to be open to something new and laugh at his own mistakes. Just tell him to make sure he sticks to the sides of the rink and take it slowly. Make sure he isn't trying to be Eric Heiden on his first time. LOL
