Okay...I am thirteen years old and I just feel different. Like, the other day in gym we had to run two laps, and I couldn't breathe once I finished. My lungs felt like they were caving in, and I was choking on this mucas stuff. (I know it sounds gross.) And I have been eating A LOT! Like today at lunch I ate a whole sandwhich, a whole orange, cheetos, and a juice box and I was STILL hungry! And then since I got home from school (which was at 2:30) I have had two soft pretzels, a hot dog, two full cups of sodas, a whole steak, two helpings of rice, and three helpings of green beans! Also, when I stand up I get real dizzy and I can't catch my balance. And sometimes when I sit down for a half hour my back begins to REALLY hurt...like hurt so bad that I almost cry, but don't. There is no possible way that I can be pregnant because I am only thirteen and I am waiting until I am married...so what is it? Now I am getting worried because it has been going on for about two weeks. What is it????

go to the doctor.

It could be like a tapeworm or something is in your stomach.

Its important for you to understand that the best thing (and only "legitimate" answer) is to see a doctor. I'm going to throw out some possibilities for you because you asked; but, again, if you really feel different than you have and have these questions a check-up is what you need.

Getting out of breath after running could mean you have asthma, but it could also mean you're a little out of shape. Young people are often far more out of shape than they realize. It could also mean you have some other medical condition.

Eating a lot could just mean you're entering a growth spurt, or it could mean you have your blood sugar levels too high (Type II) diabetes. You've taken in a lot of junk calories and even sugar in the orange and juice, and sugar causes insulin production to go up, which makes you hungry.

Being dizzy could happen if you had blood sugar problems, but it could happen if you have an ear infection.

If you're stressed out your cortisol levels (and blood sugar levels) will rise, which could make you hungrier than normal.

If you already started getting periods it could possibly be a dramatic (and kind of longer than usual) PMS; but if you haven't yet gotten any periods it could be hormones associated with the period about to start.

A back that hurts can honestly be anything from wearing shoes that make your back hurt to a medical problem like a kidney infection or something else. Backs get injuries/pulls fairly easily, and your back issue may or may not be tied in to any other issues you're having.

Although you should probably get a check-up, one thing you could also try is eliminating the soda and things like pretzels and Cheetos, which are pure carbohydrates and which could make you hungrier than you'd be if you ate protein and a little bit of fat.

It could be a coincidence that you're noticing a few different things, and maybe they're not related to each other. You could have some kind of infection. I cannot stress enough that you need to ask a parent to get to in for a check-up (or ask the doctor if you should get in right away in case you have an infection).

You could have something as relatively minor as an ear infection (they all don't cause pain). You could have a touch of viral pneumonia or any number of things. Tell you parent(s) and see a doctor. Too often, young people don't tell anyone they have some kind of health concern until it gets really serious. You may have nothing at all, or you may have something that requires immediate treatment.

The back thing may not be anything more than a muscle or disk problem that has nothing to do with the other stuff; and the needing to eat may not even mean much of anything by itself; but experiencing breathing problems and, particularly, getting dizzy and having trouble keeping your balance require a doctor. Maybe the other issues are tied in with whatever the balance problem is or maybe they're not.

It could be as simple as growing. A lot of teenagers have ravenous appetites, can't seem to get full, and dizzy spells when they are having a growth spurt. It could also account for your episode in gym class.
If you want to really ease your mind, though, ask your mom or dad to make a doctor appointment for you. They can do a simple blood test to make sure your blood sugars and everything are fine.

the dizzyness and back pain could just be growth.
standing up too quickly always makes me dizzy
your eating is just growth i think too.
as when you are growing you tend to eat more.
( ALOT more)
you being out of breath could be a result of all this eating ,as you arent working out.
or it could be a sign of asthma.
go to your GP if you are feeling worried about it.
but i dont think it is anything to worry about.
