When winter and cold weather come around, my hands are cold and have that purple color that your lips get when they are cold.

Well, in the winter it is usually cold so most peoples hands turn purple if outside.

I don't know. My hands turn purple in the winter, too. Maybe it is a reaction to the cold.

it's possible that you may have slow blood circulation that is heightened in winter. If this is the only thing you see I would think there is no problem but I'm no medical professional. I'd avoid extreme cold though as a precaution until you really know why it's going on.

It just means that your hands are cold. Massage them often with lotion and warm them in gloves. I usually have to cut off the tips of at least one pair of gloves in the winter for usuage at work. I sometimes even use them in the summer because the air conditioned office's always freezing.

It's a sign of poor circulation. I get it from time to time myself. Be sure to eat right and exercise--it won't cure it, but it will make it better. (Trust me, I made a major lifestyle change in that direction and my hands have not turned purple once this year!)

Ohh im srry too hear that. you should go contact a dermatologist. if skin cracks apply lotion 3 times a day and heat up in medium warm water. chap stick for lips and wear gloves that have a termal heating garentee. good luck this winter

This can be caused by poor circulation.. can be bad.. message you hands ect to increase blood flow.. Or your just cold put on some mits its hard to say.

Yes i would say say so this is almost showing that the blood isnt getting to your hands i would get it checked out with a docotor.
