Since he supposedly murdered innocent children and women in the name of love, while saving the town prostitute, I would have to agree he is completely confused.
(Read your Joshua if you don't believe this happens in the bible)

God is not confused about love. Christians and religions are confused. They are different things. There is God then there are different bibles for different religions.
I think there is one God who is very disappointed in the actions that are made in his name. Many wars have been started by Christians and other religions in the name of God.
I do not think they have a clue about what God is about.
In the end God is not confused religions (Christians) are.

I don't think so, I can say that there is a god, as for religion though that's just a bunch of crap, God as we call it is the universe nothing more nothing less so I don't see the correlation between, religion and love, or god and love for that matter, love is a feeling god is faith two different elements.

No, God is not confused about what love is.
He loves us enough to teach us the truth.
He loves us enough to send His Son to die for our sins.
He loves us enough to give us a way to spend eternity with Him.
I think it is man that is confused about love, not God.
Love does not allow our "loved ones" to continue a path of self-destruction.
True love confronts, corrects, teaches, and exemplifies.

God is love...
God is our Father:
A parent loves us by punishing us when we
do wrong so we will grow up living right....
God punishes us to make us grow in our spirits...
There for a parent punishes us out of love, so does God....
