Well I think you gotta ask your self this question. Do you care about your friend enough to not hurt his feelings that his dream girl has been taken by his friend. Either way I think you should go for it. Your friend should support all you do, and if he doesn't, then he's not a true friend.

Of course it is. If there's a mutual attraction there, by all means, go for it. If there's also a mutual attraction between her and your friend, then it might be polite to let him have the first shot. But in that case, it depends on which one of you is going to have an easier time getting laid elsewhere. Just don't let him screw it up for you down the road!
