If you chew slower and eat slower, you get full faster. Also, drinking water before or during a meal can make you full. My mom says that if you eat a side dish or other lesser food that is eaten with the meal, like bread or something, this can make you full.

No, never heard of the "chewing fast"---if you eat SLOWER you will get full FASTER...not chewing fast, but eating SLOWWWW....
also drink a full glass of ice water with lemon before you eat, and then full glass of ice water AS you eat. I'm not sure what the whole lemon thing is about but Munya's Mother swears by it. And she's v. thin

I've always heard the opposite. Drinking water can make you feel more full. Eating nutrient and fiber rich foods with fewer calories like broccoli and spinach can make you feel full too. Hope that helps!

That does not make a difference. Enough food makes you fool but fiber can help fill you up without any extra calories since it is indigestable. See site below for info on foods to lose weight without starving yourself.

if you drink water before you eat and eat slower. it takes 20 minutes for the brain knows the stomach is full or satisfied so if you eat slow you wont have gulped down all that extra food before th brain tells you to stop eating

It takes a while for your stomach to send the message to your brain that it is full, so eating slower would give it more time to send the message without stuffing yourself.
