well i was watching the Movie 44minutes not too long ago and my future brother-in-law (who's a cop) was talking about how the robbers planned the whole thing and he mentioned that the robbers were meth addicts and thats why the bullets didnt really effect them because even with all that armor it would still hurt like hell to be shot. so im just wondering if they really were meth addicts

Probably they were on meth. The Germans used to give it to their troops in WW2. It is said to make men fight like fearless beasts, which the N/H robbers certinly appeared to be.

I have no clue whether they were addicts or not, but I don't think that would be a factor. First off, meth enhances the nervous system, making sensory input amplified. It would probably hurt worse.
Second, I have had some education in that shooting. The closest reported shot taken by an officer (before the final close quarters shooting) was at approximately 50 yards with a 9mm. That is quite a long distance for a pistol shot. The police simply didn't have the right weapons to compensate for the assault rifles the robbers had. Their armor was designed to take a lot more than that

There was no proof of them being meth addicts. The robbery was well thought out and calculated. Adrenaline can make people not feel pain immediately, tho I am sure the 40 bullet wounds combined did not keep them up for long.

I think that they were sober during the whole shootout. They were heavily equiped with armor so the 9MM shots that the police first started shooting didn't effect them too much. I don't think that after the autopsy, there was any mention of drugs involved.
*** When someone is shot they don't go down as easily as you may think! It is not like the movies where one shot will take you down. This is why the Police HAVE to sometimes empty their clips at people. They know that they will not go down!

Your chum is an fool. he's professional existence and he helps the shootout? What an fool. no person helps them, all people thinks the genuine heroes are the law enforcement officials who saved cool under fire. no longer those 2 idiots. EDIT: fairly, there are some people who idolize them because of the fact they think of they are "badass" taking on all of those law enforcement officers while they have been basically 2 men. some people say it is not related to the money the two, persons are fairly stupid. I wager in the event that they have been interior the path of it they could be crying their asses off and wishing the two shooters could die already.

They were meth addicts. I don't care how tough you are or what
kind of armor you are wearing. when you are hit by a bullet you
go down and stay there for quite a while, unless of course you
are on something like meth.

I was an explorer when I was a teenager, and I have seen people maced who literally laugh at it because they were on drugs.
