Unless something changes in the solar output or in the earth's orbit, the greenhouse effect is probably self-limiting. As the global temperature warms, ice caps melt, water surface increases, evaporation increases, and cloud cover increases. At some point, the cooling effect of cloud cover offsets the insulating effect of the greenhouse gases. At least, that's one theory.

We'll all get warmer and warmer! SO WHAT!! Look up the medieval warming period:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medieval_Warm_Period
You'll see that it wasn't man creating mass quantities of CO-2 that caused that warming period, nor is that the current situation. The sun is hotter now as it was then. There is now a period of increased solar activity, which has caused a one to two degree increase in the ambient temperature of the Earth over the last one hundred years.
Look at the planet Mars. It's warmer on Mars also. The Martian polar ice caps are melting, just as they are here on Earth. Do you suppose it's those tiny Mars landers spewing out tons of exhaust fumes that are causing it? What we're seeing is a natural phenomenon, which will eventually cease.
P.S. Al Gore is full of CRAP with the premise of his movie "An Inconvenient Truth". AND so is anyone else who believes global warming is the result of any man made causes!

The term 'Global Warming' isn't being thought of as it should be.
Realize this: We've had many ice ages (and are coming out of one now), and after each one, there is 'global warming'.
This planet has been much hotter in the past than it is right now. To say that this global warming trend is different than those of the past is simply not a good theory.

The world will eventually be an ocean. If you want a more detailed explanation check out the movie "An inconvenient truth" Its a great documentary about global warming. It will truly open your eyes.

Global warming will not keep going on and on. It will change within the next decade, and the Planet will be here for another thousand years, that for sure.

The ice bergs(like Antarctica and the north pole) will melt until they are all the way gone. Then the water level rises dangerously high and we all drown.(kinda like Noah's Arc, huh?) I suggest you try and help stop it, unless you want to die before you are 30.
