He's only in 2 of my classes. We don't really talk much, but I wanna get to know him better. I don't really have anything to talk to him about. I don't wanna be overly flirtatious or anything, so how can I get to know him better. thanks!

Say hi to him, and then ask him for help on a problem. Just pretend your having a problem, even if your not. Try to ask him questions about the homework and stuff. Then maybe this could lead onto a conversation, and you could get to know him better.

Say Hi, Hello & ask for a book to read for one or two days. Put a love letter into the book when you return that book to him. If he smiles on next day think he is involved in love with same sex as you have not mentioned your gender

well the only way you going to learn anything about him is ask. just ask him to dinner or something and talk to him for a hour or two. you can learn a lot in a hour

Just say hello my name is ________ what is your name...? Just simple things can start a conversation...or you ask him hey do you remember the homework....than he will be forced to talk....(you already know what the homework is, but just ask anyway:)
