after me and my ex of almost 3 yrs and i broke up i started dating someone else and then me and that person broke up and i told my ex we were probably not getting back together but when we did my ex got mad, my ex and i are kinda like best friends but i dont think he tells me everything but gets mad at what i tell him stuff and when i dont tell him he gets even madder. what is wrong with him is he jealous or something i think he even has a girlfriend but is just not telling me so should i care

You are not very clear in your approach to communication. If this question is any indicator, your ex is justifiably confused as to your real intentions towards him. Does being best friends with a former boyfriend or girlfriend ever work? I don't think so. You need to let this guy go on with his life, and you go on with yours.

Hint of What Your Ex might be thinking: YOu said we. Who is "we"? you and your boyfriend? It is a dumb Idea to say that to your ex right next to your boyfriend if that's what you did, because you can destroy a friendship by stooping that low and being that pesky.
