i saw a license plate that said "baninito" or maby it was "bananito" im not sure..can you please tell me what this means if you know.

Bananito is indeed spanish for small banana, except it is altered to be in the masculine form.
so the translation is "small (male) Banana"

small banana alone would actually be bananitA.

It exactly means "Little banana." But it's actually more like a nickname, roughly translated the nickname would be "Banany" or something like that.
