I own a compaq presario computer. How can I get the sound to work without purchasing speakers? I thought it was a hp computer but the front says compaq.

The only sounds your computer will make without having speakers hooked up to it is beep and click.

HP bought Compaq, so HP handles all the support for Compaq. You can probably find a monotor with internal speakers. But I must tell you, I had a lot of problems with it and finally went back to external speakers. So, if you go this route, make sure you can return the equipment.

lol..you want sound with no speakers? there is no such technology available yet..don't be cheap..
btw how do i drive a car without gas?

Headphones will work fine too.
