How were you told where babies came from as a kid?
I was allways told they came out of our belly buttons and thats why the skin behind the belly button got so big.

I have no idea how I found out. I cna't remember any discussions like that except for one small stab at it that my mom made in the car once, but that was sometime in jr. high and it was about dating, not babies.
I definately already knew by the time they discussed it in school. Not the gritty details, probably, but the basics.
I can't remember thinking anything about the baby coming from a stork or the cabbage patch or anything like that either.
It probably never came up in my family because I was the youngest child until my sister was born when I was 7. By then, I knew.

I would tell my nephews from the bird "the stork" from the pickle jar... So one day a few years ago my nephew told me Look Noni he brings the baby's and he was pointing at the cap of the jar... lol.. i though it was the cutest thing ever, but they told me from kissing...lol... if that was the case then I would have a lot of kids now...lol...

My mother got me the books "Where do babies come from" and "Whats happening to me?" They were great, but it would have been nice to be able to discuss this with her. Later she gave me some brochures on Sex Ed and stuff like that.

I actually dont even remember if i was ever told where babies came from. i think i thought the stork brought them.

I have no idea how I figured it out. I know my mom never told me.. but neither did my friends.

i wasnt told by my parents, i remember learning in science class. that was about the only thing l remember that i learned in elementary school

I had always pretty much known. I used to love babies when I was little and when my mom was pregnant with my brother I was in the room when he was delivered.

i wasn't told...my parents had porn in the house...plus my parents were young so put two and two together...children are not dumb
