Dont worry about it, they are inviting all their dog friends for poker while you are gone and they are always glad to see you when you get home.... they have each other for company. Dogs have short term memory and dont remain sad for more than about a minute after you leave... then they play with each other.

I used to feel that way till my neighbor told me how sweet he looked asleep at the window waiting for me. They really have no concept of time, either. You could be gone for 5 minutes or 5 days and it is the same to them.

hi, i think the same way you do approximately my dogs. Mine have on no account been taken to a kennel and that i don't experience that they might shield it properly if I did take them to a minimum of one. i might think of, because of the fact which you have a pup door and that they are properly domicile broken, they could be super for one night with out anybody there. because of the fact which you have acquaintances that are keen to feed them and verify on them, i might pass away them at domicile. My perfect subject may well be in the experience that your friends ought to stay at your place for the duration of the night, yet being that that's Christmas eve, in all likelihood unlikely to happen. they may well be greater tender at domicile, and we could face it, being at a kennel might mean they may well be crated all night long with out anybody around, and that they may well be greater in all likelihood to return in touch with unwell animals too. i might actually pass away them on the domicile. Get a dog sitter so they're not home alone, or take them to a baby sitter.

They'll be fine and when you get back, they won't even remember you were ever gone.
