I would hop online and get in touch with different agencies and get your name out there. I think the age varies from state to state.

And they are going ot do a full blown back ground check and all kinds of stuff...Good luck!

It varies as to what type of adoption, your location and the location of the child.

My only interaction with adoption is through GWCA (Great Wall Chinese Adoption). For a Chinese adoption, the parents have to be a minimum of 30 years old each.

A domestic adoption is very different. Younger parents are preferred.

You must be of legal age (18 years old) and be able to demonstrate that you are able to support the child - financially, socially and emotionally. Preference is given to two-parent families over individuals, however, if you are considering a child with special needs, then supply exceeds the demand.

Good luck and may God bless your generosity.

Varies in each state. But certainly be 18 and have a good job to be able to provide for the child.

age isn't really a factor when people consider placing their baby for adoption. the birthparents are going to be more concerned with having a stable home environment, job, etc. i placed my baby for adoption last may and i didn't even consider asking the parents how old they were...it wasn't that important.

Check with your state's social services agency.
