I want to take a cruise, but I am heading out alone on this one, and want to know if taking a cruise alone is worth it. Still fun, and do other people go alone? I'm not looking for a whole boat of singles by the way...just a normal cruise.

I went on a cruise by myself several years ago, and had a GREAT time. Because I didn't have to do anything anyone
else wanted to do, I could do whatever, whenever I wanted to.
Also, since I was alone, I was more approachable, so a lot of
people just started up conversations with me. I ended up meeting 3 couples traveling together (one had just gotten married, and the best man and his wife, and the maid of honor
and her husband,) and they asked me to hang out with them,
it was a huge party. Had a fantastic time.

Good luck!

I'd do a google search for singles group cruises. Travel agencies promote cruise groups using the web, so start there and see what you can find.

Lots of people travel as singles and I have done it myself. I enjoy it and love it. Holland America line also has a single partner program where you are paired up with a room mate and you don't pay the single fees. I am sure you will have fun and try to request a medium to large table. Normally you will be assigned a table with other singles on the ship.
