Why won't anyone go out with me if they say I'm hot?

I'm kinda shy when it comes to guys. But not all the time. Yet...I can't find anyone...When I'm on the internet just chatting...everyone says I'm really hot or beautiful yet I can't find that here. What's wrong with me? I have a good personality just a tough guard...

Well Korney the fact is we tend to get lost in the real world these days there is way too much crime out there and because we don't feel so safe some people just chose not to meet like the old days. I met my current wife on the Internet and I love her very much she is from Malaysia and I couldn't be happier. We were able to learn about each other long before we met and I was always straight with her, and now she is here in the United States. For me I could not find anyone because I was way too busy and did not want to bothered with the old dating rituals. Many people because of all the bad things that happen around us suddenly avoid direct contact whenever possible.

I know exactly what you are going through Kortney. I have the same problem. Everyone tells me that I'm beautiful, sexy, blah blah blah, but no guy will approach me, no matter how I act. It's almost as if the guys are ok with just staring and dreaming at me, but when reality presents an opportunity, they run the other way. It's sad. If I wait for them to approach, they never do. If I approach, they turn me down.
I'll be watching your post to see what comes up for answers as well!
PS I'm not trying to be conceited. This is the way it is, and I wish it wasn't. I'd rather be approached.

We don't know you. No one can say. You sound like a very sweet down to earth girl. No, I'm not hitting on you, I am a grandmother. I didn't meet a good guy until I was 40. Maybe it's not anything you're doing wrong. Maybe it's just them. Just be yourself and don't try too hard. You will eventually meet a great guy.

I am guy and like most guys do not ask because they do not want to be turned down specially by a hot chick it sucks real bad,con-try to what chicks think guys have a big ego but like they say the bigger u are the hared u fall, try being nice and easy to talk to hop this helps you.

Get off the internet, dress conservatively, wear minimal make-up and get out into the world where there are men your age. Not bars.

Try libraries, gatherings of friends, sporting events, church groups and anyplace people of your age gather.

Stay away from anyplace that makes you look easy or cheap by your being there, bars, malls, drinking parties etc.

Actually, men can be very initimidated by a beautiful woman. They assume you are already dating someone and you wouldn't want to give them the time of day.

You could try meeting guys in real life.
