Well since you have had a boyfriend for a year you probably shouldn't be concerned about someone you like asking you out. Do you really think people don't read other questions you are asking. Do you want advice about some guy asking you out or advise about your boyfriend asking you to have sex? Or ar you just wasting our time asking stupid questions?

Hes shy you will need to do the asking girls are more mature so your gonna have to do it but when you do it totally stick your hand down his pants and cram a finger in his butt

Maybe, he feels you are a good friend. Maybe, he does not reciprocate your feelings for him.
It is also possible though that he is just shy to ask a girl out. Anything is possible...
