Chances are they have record of it. Sounds like you were medically discharged. RE4 i presume? Tell the truth. Tell them you aren't depressed, try to prove it. GOOD LUCK! Corpsman Up!

Chances are, they'll know about it.... If not, then dont say anything. Once you're in theres not much they can do about it... thats why the screening process is extensive. MOST recruiters will do everything in their power to get you in. So if you can get some sort of proof that you aren't depressed then so be it. Its up to you to reveal that to the recruiter, but if theres any truth to it, remember boot camp breaks you down, but you s hould already know that being prior navy. good luck, again, any questions or if you need any help, i'd be glad to do my best, emails work great, good luck.

If you are highly motivated and want to join why bring it up?We are all depressed at one time or another. But if you feel the need to hurt yourself make sure you fill out the life insurance portion part.Get a grip of your life and follow your dreams,no need or time for depression, leave that for the people about tobe voted out of office.

If you conceal this fact for the recruiter then you are committing the crime of 'fraudulent enlistment.'

And if caught (better to say when you are caught) you will be separated from the service under 'Other Than Honorable' conditions.

Tell the truth - it is less painful in the long run.

If you have not had any legal issues that caused this doctor visit to happen, say if it was just a checkup and not because you were arrested and court ordered to see this doctor, I say keep it to yourself. Otherwise, if it was a court ordered doctor visit, tell everything.
