That is just married men and women. Gay couples never cheat cause they love eachother. Bush can start a war? That makes less sense. Clintons personal life does not affect me, war does.

You're using the fact that many people do the WRONG thing to somehow make it right? Anything can be justified if that's what you're trying to say. Cheating is never, ever the right thing to do whether you're the President or just one of the rest of us.

70% of married couples aren't asked to lead the most powerful nation in the world.

Also, a large portion of the 70% of married couples don't vote in every election (assuming they reflect the rest of Americans), so what mandate should they be able to impose? ;)

of course, the problem wasn't the cheating. It was lying under oath about it. But the cheating was what the GOP cared about to keep Clinton down and busy with personal things rather than worrying about running the country.

It's about character & integrity. Someone who cheats on their spouse can be expected to cheat on & lie to their friends, their co-workers and their countrymen. I think that we should expect and demand that our nation's leaders be people of high character and integrity.

You can NEVER justify immorality, because a majority of people do it. Wrong is wrong. If if are one of those people of questionable morality, then I just wasted my time in answering this question.
