it's better then ver. 6 but it's sluggish and Mozilla Firefox 2 is much better anyways. It's more compatible with some websites tho so i keep it around. Personally I prefer Opera tho.

I think that IE 7 works very well,,and not had any problems yet with it,,are you thinking about installing it but unsure if its any good or not,,,well let me tell you it's alright just follow the instructions on the download and you will be fine,,only one word of warning and that is, go to Microsoft.com to download the new IE 7 version and not form anywhere else OK,

I hate it and use FF as my default browser. After installing IE7 I was gobsmacked how much like FF it looked. And then Ad-Aware SE Personal noted that something new was spying on me.
All the URLs I type are collected. If I open IE7, then close it and then later open the internet connection, IE7 tries to hijack FF to connect to the net. (I've got a good firewall that tells me whats happening.)
I'm trying to write a website and use both FF& IE7 offline to check how it looks.
Now I have to run Ad-Aware, log off, log on again and then open my internet connection or I get a warning the FF is trying to act like a server and has been hijacked by IE7.
So I'm not impressed.

Reading the other posts I'll try disabling the anti phishing filter. Cheers, M$. Another lemon.

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customizable to suit your need and no problems.

yes i had problems ,after downloading yahoo's which came out 2 weeks before Microsoft's i had to recon fig my router. i removed it via add & remove programs. then about 2 weeks ago i got a microsoft update for ie7,on the download page was an 800 number to my surprise it was for tech support for ie7,the tech walked me through the instalation and answered all questions then i got an e-mail with my techs e-mail and the hours they work.well worth the wait i got tech support for over an hour no cost.they also explained all the features, ie7 is great on the pc i installed it on so im moving on to my laptop. (ie7 on pc running media edition).

It's lame, and people who don't know any better will end up leaving the Phishing Filter on so Microsoft can see all the sites they go to.

Don't download any more internet explorers..
look for firefox downloads
firefox is free and has exactly the same features as internet explorer, but it has less problems!

I've had no problems. Once, during Beta, Wells Fargo wouldn't let me in. But that's resolved. I have a hunch that it's intended for broadband users and dial-up people might have problems.

I've had it for ages, I was in the beta test. I didn't even have any problems then. What sort of probs are you having? Try posting another question.
