The other night, my cat came in from outside with some strange rodent in its mouth and plunked it down on the floor. I have no idea what the hell it was. I don't think it was a mouse....even though it looked like one. This thing was sort of longer than a mouse, and was white and black on top basically and had a white belly. It was pretty fat too. It's tail was almost like a beaver tail. It was flat and long and was rounded at the tip like a beavers. Anyways, I tossed it back outside even though I think my cat basically killed it. It was a cute looking thing anyways, but I wish I knew what it was. If any of you cat lovers/animal pros can help me out on this one, I sure would appreciate it. (PS: it wasnt a chipmunk either)

If it was small it could have been a mole. If it was larger it could be a ground hog. CATS!!! Ya Gotta Love Em!

I even have heard of it in the previous yeah..theory it became into purely the cat or cat's dragged in as in singular yet i dont think of that's offensive interior the way different comments are...its greater of a sarcastic fact, form of 0.5 disapproving yet 0.5 playful/joking. a minimum of that became into how my mom used to apply it as quickly as I had come domicile late from college looking slightly scruffy from soccer or purely everyday teenage scruffyness. thats purely the way it became into meant for us. possibly for others it became into used greater offensively however.

My mother always used that expression with me when I messed up my pretty little dresses that had to be washed and ironed. I really never knew what she meant as we never had a cat.

The cat could have found a nest of baby animals and brought one home as a "prize".

It could have been a shrew, they are similar to mice but have short tails, fatter bodies, and longer snouts. Hope this helps!

I would go with the first answer. Or it could have been a wild ferret? Your guess is as good as mine.
