If a hot girl that you had interest in and she also liked you too wrote you a nice note that basically said she really liked you and wanted to get to know you better, how would you react?
Would you feel the need to show the note to everyone to show that you got attention from a good-looking girl, or would you take it seriously and pursue her?

We are both 18 and seniors in high school. We have both had a thing for each other since the end of sophomore year. He can be immature around his friends but whenever he was around me, he'd get shy and really self-conscious. He didn't have a problem talking to girls that were not so attractive. We did talk to each other and we sat by each other in a class-until he moved away from me. when he did that, he'd still be staring at me-it made me wonder if I did something that upset him-so I wrote him a note. He showed it to EVERYONE and said things like he thought i was crazy and creepy. Why would he do this? I totally ignore him now, but he stares at me all the more and I know that he still talks about me with his friends. What is his problem? Does he like me and just won't show it?

When I was a young lad I would have probably done both. Bragged and showed off the note to my buddies and also attempted to pursue this young lovely lass.

I would take it seriously and persue her as best I could. Showing all your friends and bragging will only piss her off should she find out. Keep it to yourself, bask in the glory of knowing that you have attracted the attention of someone you find attractive, and go from there. People around you don't need to know your personal life... that is why they call it a personal life, ... because it is personal.

Your guy has a serious ego problem. He likes you, but he also wants his friends to know that it is you who like him more. Make him feels like the most handsome male in the entire planet.
He's immature for a serious relationship. If I were him, I would take your letter as an opportunity to get to know you better, and rather than showing off your letter to my friends, I would take you and introduce you to my friends.

It depends: how old is the guy? If he is young or inexperienced, he probably was showing his friends cause a) he was excited a hot girl likes him and b) he doesn't know what the heck to do and wants advice. Could you tell us your ages and other relevant circumstances? If you do, I'll provide a more commprehensive answer.

If I was interested I'd persue it. No need to brag to my friends. If my self esteem is that low that i need the reassurance of my friends before doing something on my own then I wouldn't expect any girl to like me!

Guys rarely get asked out by a girl, so when they do it is a huge compliment. I would be flattered and pursue it.

i would take it seriously and pursue her, if she sleeps with me on the first date, then i would sleep with her a few more times and tell everyone and then ditch her because she gave it up to easily.
