I don't have any other answer except to cut it so it's flat, sorry. I've never actually had that problem, mine rise pretty evenly.

If you use an old-fashioned 2-piece cake pan, turn it out upside down on the plate. I don't know if you can even buy those any more, but there must be some still around, because the stores sell angel food cakes that look like they're baked in the 2-piece pan.

With the regular bundt pans, you would have to trim it to make it flat.

no need to cut the top off when the cake is cool just flip it on to a plate with the top on the plate and the downside up...now you have your flat top.

also anytime you bake with baking soda or baking powder your product with rise..omitting these items from the recipe just so it won't rise will change the texture, moisture content of the product

You cannot keep it from rising.
Why do you want it flat?
Whatever your reason, if you want it flat on the plate, yes, you will have to cut it down, but most people don't do that
Bundt cakes are not generally frosted.

It should basically flatten out when you turn it out to cool. I have never had a problem with it being uneven or anything.

If you flip it out onto your serving plate while it is still alittle warm, it will flatten out.
