Do things with friends and family. The holidays are not marital status specific. Create your own traditions.
Then get drunk and go pick up a cute guy :).
I know what you mean. I'm single but I have every weekend booked with festivities:
Zoo lights
cookie baking
Happy Feet
I'm hosting Christmas Eve dinner
Christmas breakfast at my sister's
Christmas dinner at my best friend's
New Year's Eve with my other best friend
Keep yourself busy and don't have a pity party.

Oh come on. The holidays mostly get spent with family so it really doesn't matter. Ok you got me on New Years Eve but I never feel sad about being single over the holidays. Chances are if I was coupled up we would be fighting over something anyway....lol....Cheer up. Happy Holidays.

Why does the world's focus have to be your focus? I am a divorced man and it doesn't bother me a bit to go to a holiday party or dinner without a date. I have a great family to spend Christmas with and great kids. I don't need a woman on my arm to bring any kind of meaning to my life.
If you like who you are, you don't mind being by yourself.
