Will notepad prompt "are you sure" if accidentally deleting a note? I've lost 1 and am bummed I looked every

I successfully completed and saved one note. Named a file and placed it in that file. I pulled up a blank as yet unfiled note and completed half then saved. I can't locate it now? If I accidentally tried to delete instead of save it would I have been given a prompt asking if I were sure? I'm bummed that my works "missing"

If you are talking about the Windows notpad

Hold down the windows key and push key F
When the search box open click on Documents... in the search box
type in *.txt and hit search

It will show all text files in the computer of which is the type of file notepad uses.

Do a search or find on your computer and look for *.txt, this will pull up files created under notepad.
