Hello.I live in Spalding in Lincolnshire UK and apparantly can get Freeview.I've spent a while wandering around the freeview set-top boxes reviews, and keep coming across rave reviews for a Sony VTX-D800U Digital Receiver. My tv set is a Grundig square screen and is about 6/7 years old.I know it has a conventional 'jack plug' aerial in the back and a SCART connector in the back.I have a brand new aerial installed last month and it is digital compatible. My question is this:-Is my Grundig TV compatible with the Sony VTX-D800U Digital Receiver? If yes, where can I get one here in Lincolnshire? Also,if you have bought this particular model, would you please kindly tell me what you thought of it? Thank you very much for any help, suggestions, recommendations etc regarding my question. I am most obliged. Alan L.

Well, you can, but with the old Grundig TV you won't get the full picture benefit. Comet have a store in Boston and a huge one in Lincoln which should have them if you really want it.
I'd go for a cheaper one given your telly with the option of having Top Up TV Anytime on it.
Impressive question, that by the way.
