well i know most airlines allow you to, and the new rules is if u bring electronics u have to put it under the scanner. nothing will happen to them i dont think, ive done it many times.

i know alitalia doesnt let u use ne electronics, but for the most part, most airlines allow you to do so.

with the digital camera, you may not be able to use it during take off and landing, make sure u ask the flight attendants they will let u know in advance. but usually when u reach the flying height, electronics are allowed, except ones that hve to do with frequency like cell phones

Yes, according to the FAR's all portable electronics except for those with an internal transmitter are approved to be used during flight. The 10,000 feet rule is because during climb and descent is when the airlines would be most likely to have a problem. Additionaly all the electronic noise could potentially interfere with the VOR system established on an IFR approach. Airlines do have the power to set their own polocy's dealign with electronic devices, but I have never seen an airlien which prohibited the use of DVD players about 10,000 feet.

You can bring them all on board. I suggest you do bring them as a carry on in case your luggage gets lost, they're not liable for electronics supposively. I lost my luggage about a month ago & had my brand new 400 dollar digital camera in my suitcase, and there's nothing they can do about it. Also, the dvd's wont get hurt when your bag goes through security...but my boyfriend brought his dvd player along once & it doesn't seem to work the same anymore after going through.

You can bring all three on board. The X-ray won't hurt anything besides a film camera.
