I have two huge research projects due for two difficult college courses this term, so I guess my advice is to do what I am doing. Do your research, give yourself plenty of time and then suck it up and do the report. Life is really hard...this is just a report.

It depends on what kind of report it is. If it is a research paper, wikipedia is really good, google is a big help, and don't forget the local library. Try talking to your teacher.

Divide the task into smaller parts. Make a list of what needs to be done. Take the one thing that will make the most difference and do that first, even if it's hard.
Try reading, Eat That Frog by Tony Robbins.

Research your information. What is the report about? Gather your information, study it that you know the material and form it into a report.

If its really as hard as you say it is than get a few friends to come over to help you with it. That makes allot easier when I have something like that.

I would google "tropical diseases", find one that looks interesting and then tell my professor I have the disease and couldn't do my report. Or there's always the dog ate it.

Do it. It won't get any easier if you don't do it. But as you work on it, the rest that you have left to do will be easier.
