If it's excrutiating, it might be gout and you'd need to see a doctor for medication. If it hurts following an injury, A&E don't even treat a broken toe so you won't get much sympathy.

If the color of your toe nail on that toe has changed, then I would recommend seeing a doctor, if not I would wait a day or two and if the pain persist then see a doctor. It could be a minor infection or something else.

well you should go to the doctor if u see color changes or idk u didnt really give much details....if it hurts because it wont pop or if u have but still hurts leave it be for 2 days casue what would really go wrong with a toe? unless u think u broke it but u should know what u've done but if it hurts for a lot longer than u thought it would then see a doctor

Is it greenish, oozing puss, and twice the size it normally is? Yeah, otherwise you gonna die.
