Our neighbour wants his children to have nothing to do with us, because he wants them to grow up normally. Why doesn't our neighbour want his children to grow up to be happy?

We believe in living for ever, living without disease, living in a peaceful world, being safe, being as happy as possible.

Hmmm... You appear to be equating having 'something to do with you' with happiness.
In fact, you are implying that his children cannot attain happiness UNLESS they have 'something to do with you'.
Perhaps from a Jehovah's Witness'(?) perspective this is true. But I presume your neighbour does not subscribe to whatever personal beliefs you hold true.
So from his perspective, wanting his children to grow up 'normally', he presumably believes that it is actually possible to be happy without associating with you. In fact he may believe they will be happier without having anything to do with you.
You've offered your friendship. It has been declined. Live happily and let your neighbour do likewise.

Well, you didn't mention his objections. Did you have a fight with them? Are there some sort of other differences he can't seem to overcome? What are his reasons? Why wouldn't his children STILL be normal even if you weren't in their lives?
EDIT:
What Exactly kind of belief is that?
If you ever learn how to live disease free, or forever (outside of eternity in heaven), lemme know, K?

The first part of the answer does seem strange.
The 2nd part provides the necessary explanation. Your neighbours do want their children to be happy. They just don't want them brainwashed by ignorant disgusting religious nuts like yourselves.

I take it you're trying to convert the poor kids and the parents found out and told the kids to stay away from you nutjobs? You people make me sick.
Edit : Yep. I knew you were Jehova's Witnesses. I don't blame your wise neighbours keeping their children away from you people. I would too. And you have no right bypassing the parents to talk to the kids.

I have neighbors who are always inebriated, always smoking, arguing and swearing( this is their definition of living free and being happy). they also have the audacity to ask why do i not want my children over there. Is the answer not obvious.

How can YOU possible know what your neighbor wants? Having something to do with you will make them normal and happy? Maybe he wants them to be able to think straight and not hypothesize.

Because he is responsible for his children and doing his best? And perhaps he sees something that he feels will hinder their development? Could these be the answer?

Edit: ok, that still tells us nothing. Are you trying to preach your religion? Are you trying to convert his kids? What are you doing thats making your neighbour so angry?

I'm unclear as to why he thinks you are abnormal. I mean if you are different in pedophilia or something it is certainly understandable. I need more information in order to form an opinion.
