all beer is good beer. try some pale ales, weizens, and lambics. your heart will melt if you actually learn to taste what is in them.

I favor German beers more, Spaten and St. paul's girl. Actually, I was in Norway and their beer was actually very good. It had a sweeter taste and the alcohol content was more.

If you're going for taste, try all different kinds (Pilsner, Ale, Stout, etc.)
If you're going for drunk, get whatever's cheap and drink a lot of it.
Newcastle is my preferred brew, but I'll drink Pabst on Thirsty Thursdays ($2 for a 22oz, can't beat it).
