I've found the best thing to do when you're feeling sad, depressed, insecure, lonely, or otherwise unhappy, is to look around and see what you can do to make someone else happy.
I know it sounds corny, but it does help. Even if you just do something small for a friend or a stranger, take five minutes and go out of your way for someone else. Help restack some books. Pick up some litter. Be kind and chat with some lonely old lady at the bus stop. Give the salesperson a nice compliment about what a good job they're doing.
Try it. Even if you still feel like crap, at least you'll have a tiny glow from the following realizations: 1) you were in a crappy mood, but didn't take it out on anyone else; 2) you made someone else's day a little bit better; and 3) you connected positively with another person, so you're not totally alone in the universe.

your life sounds a bit like mine, i had a library book back late (maybe £5 fine), some cokmuncher on a bike cycled right at me when i was on a pedistrian crossing and then had the dam cheek to pass some remark (to which i called him a pu55y), the other day an idiot edited out my downright bloody excellent work from an important project and replaced it with crrap at the last moment, i havent had headaches but i have had bad breathing recently, today i dodged a college test by getting a doctors note and im feeling a bit guilty about it AND im far behind on other subjects - its all piling up, im not even remotely close to having the kind of relationship i want. so if it makes you feel better - theres a lot more of us out there running round in a circle getting nowhere.
to make yourself feel better - forget the landrover guy, youll never see him again. forget about the book - its only a little money, relax a while and when your feeling better then think about relationships and your essay.

If I feel sad like that, I'd go and have a really hot, deep, bath. Add some aromatherapy oils if you have some, if you don't go out and buy some tomorrow, I'd recommend Clary Sage, Jasmine and Orange. Add a few drops to your bath. Take some painkillers, get your comfy pyjamas out, put some music you really like on, something gentle though, then take a good book and lie in the bath for ages. Keep the house warm and try not to worry about your relationship issues for today.
Things will seem a lot better tomorrow, its weekend, if its dry go for a nice long walk in the woods, borrow someones dog if you don't have your own!
Keep smiling :)
Oh don't use the jasmine oil if you still have a headache.. maybe try lavender instead.

Hi from Albuquerque, NM. Sorry to hear that you do not feel well and are having a bad day. I hope you get some rest, listen to your favorite music, and drink a hot toddy (tea, lemon, shot of whiskey). When I am sick, everything seems skewed in a negative direction.
Know that someone (many people, actually) care about you and wish you all the best.
Get well soon. Best wishes.

poor thing. It sounds like life is hitting you hard right now. Let me give you some words of encouragement. Life always seems to go this way. When one thing goes wrong, EVERYTHING soon goes wrong too. Thats just part of life, BUT when one thing gets better, soon everything will get better. Just keep your chin up and if you want to get away from the stress, just curl up in bed and take a little nap, or go take a walk and see how beautiful this world really is....maybe all you need is a little fresh air :)

Yes. Typing this message made you feel better. Didn't it? Sometimes that's all we need. For us to feel like someone is listening to us.
I know how you feel. What you need to do is think real hard. What is your favorite thing in the world to do? You like to dance? Go out tonight and go dancing. Who know's you might meet someone. You like sports? Go to a sporting event. Take your mind off everything and just do what you really enjoy doing. Hunting, fishing, whatever your hobbies are. DO IT! Take your mind off your troubles and get involved in something you love to do.
Good luck mate!

Think better, feel better. Do something, anything, that takes your mind somewhere else. Try to think of something that makes you happy, one thought at a time. Dwelling on all the bad sh*t only will make it worse and worse. Reach for the best thought --right now---then build from there. It works!

Not so great days are HOW you are able to appreciate really WONDERFUL days......
When life doesn't go the way YOU planned, it is all ways because God has a better idea.
Everything here is temporary... if you don't like something, it is bound to change.
www.stevenhalpern.com has music that can help you relax and regroup.
Tomorrow is a NEW DAY.
God doesn't make "junk" and God made you..... try not to take this life's drama too seriously.
Blessings to you.

Do what I'm doing . . . take a day at a time, try and stay positive (although I know a challenge sometimes), try to get out more and enjoy yourself, treasure every moment (as if it were your last) and don't take life for granted.
This holiday season, I'm also going through some tough times. I'm with ya, brother! Keep your chin up - it can only get better!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS, SWEETIE!
If ya' wanna write me, feel free!
