The difference is like an ice cream cone with or without ice cream. Without it's crunchy and still tastes good, with it much more satifying. Sex without love still feels good, but fails to satisfy emotionally.

The difference between making love and sex, is inside you. Great, fantastic, wonderful sex is still just sex. It's a good workout, a great stress killer but its still just sex. Making love is a sensual delight that goes from your toes to the tips of your hair. You can feel the sensations deep in the pit of your stomach. Making love doesn't always have to do with fornication either, it does have alot to do with intimacy.

Sex is purely a mind based action. There are no feelings involved i.e. one night stand, booty call, etc. Making love is much more involved it is an action of the heart & mind. That is why it is said that making love is so beautiful. You give of yourself to make love. You take something for yourself during sex.

Making love is intimate and meaningful with someone you are in love with. Having sex is a booty call with out much meaning ie....just having sex without the emotional connection.

sex is just that, sex. 2 people have intercourse with no feelings other than the physical feelings. Making love is 2 people having sex with emotional feelings for one another.

making love sounds stupid and having sex doesn't b/c it's straighforward. I don't like the words "making love"... it makes me think I'm in one of those cheezy romance movies. I want to have sex!
