i would say they should, but they have already started something and it should be completed at the cost of us. i beleive if they pull out now and just left the country as it stands. then that means would open the doors for more of them making more and more strikes on the usa agin

I think they should. As the only super power in the World they have a responsibility not to but it's not working nor will it ever work. If you look at the history of the area and colonial powers, none have ever got what they came for. I feel America does not take it's responsibilities seriously beyond what they gain from a country. Too many soldiers have died, American and others and nothing has been achieved. They should just go home. The Iraqi people though are the ones that have suffered and will suffer more....they are just pawns in the international power game and that's a shame, imagine if someone did that to your country...terrible.

yes they should pull out,
if iraq is going to have a civil war it should be a fair stright forward iraqi vs. iraqi. americas role of supressing one side while supporting another is only suppressing the envitable turmoil between sunnis' and shiaa's.
civil wars happen, especially in that region of the world. we should allow the country to take it's natural course.
Lebanon did it, without western help and i think there government is fairly stable and fare considering the history of there 30 yaer conflict.
the quicker america leaves and the opposeing sides hash out the conflict the sooner they can rebuild. america is trying to stiffle a necessary war. win or loose shia or sunni it makes no difference who wins, unless we support the shia and the sunni wins then iraq turns into another Iran, Isolated and bitter towards the US.

No. If we just pull out & slink away, it would look like we're defeated & we'd lose credibility. I am truly sorry for the families who have lost loved ones in the war but our military is all volunteer. None of them have been forced to go & they know the risks they're taking but they've made a commitment to go where they're sent. Most of them believe in what they're doing. Believe me it's not for the pay.

If we leave now, everything will get jacked up and all the lives that have been lost will be lost for nothing. Short memories we all do have.....We are fighting an evil, not jus t a difference of political views. We must stay and give everyone over there a fighting chance, and fight they must, to have a chance.

yes, we the u.s. are not the world police!....let the other countries run their own countries!!...this behavior will only make the rest of the planet dislike us(u.s.) more than already........who are we to decide that they need our help....if they want to be destructive let them..it is their choice..we speak of freedom and yet oppress the rest of the world.......eventually it will be us against the planet....and no one will help us because we interfered with the world with being asked to step in...

they should--if you could know that your child, or husband, wife, mother, father, whoever, was going to die there, would you opt to end the war? notice, i am not asking if you already lost someone there--if you did, then you need to give their death meaning and would likely opt to say the war should continue until blah blah blah. but if you knew your closest loved one would die, but that we would eventually get what we want from this war, would you honestly say it's okay? if so, then i'm glad i'm not your loved one.
