Then you should seek for a native Spanish girl (they're the best to teach you this particular "R" sound) !! However I speak Spanish and French but the sound of their "R" is rather different (the Spanish is less rolled than the French). Btw I'm Italian and here in Italy that "R" is a phonetic defect since normally we don't need to use this sound in our language (and Germans either).
Also in England is not used as well as on other countries and then itsn't true that "most Europeans pronounce it" as quoted in yr question. :D

first German and English are Germanic languages which don't seem to be developed from Latin. So one must now not count on them to mention r the identical method that it's mentioned in Italy or Spain. Now French is a Romance language however the truth the time period Francia comes from Frank which was once originaly a germanic tribe might final result the way in which they pronounce r.

you know, there are people who can't make that sound and others who can. i've been trying to teach my father this sound for years, but he didn't get any closer to it while i did it since i was a little girl. maybe you should go to a speech therapist who can explain that to you. but i think no one can help you. it is kinda in the genes i think, and it depends on where you spent your very first years of childhood. What about telling your spanish teacher to learn the ü sound in german language. i promise he won't make it...

Just gotta learn to 'roll your tongue'. not something we can teach you online. lol.. i suggest asking for help in learning to roll your tongue from your spanish teacher, or from someone else who speaks spanish (who may have more time and would probably be more patient with you).
