You have chosen two perfect spots for a tattoo. I want tattoos in both those places, and they are good places to show them off and to keep them hidden if need be. (The back of your neck can be hidden with hair, and your wrist can be covered with bracelets, watches, long sleeve shirts, etc.) As far as lady-like goes, just don't let it look trashy! Because your tattoo is definitely not trashy, and the places you're considering won't make you look easy, you have nothing to fear. Have fun! :)

ooh those are neat. I wouldn't get them too terribly small as you'll loose the detail, maybe 3" to 4" inches all around? and without the boxes in the background? or just some gray shade in the background. Are you female? If so I think that either side of hips, or abs or low back or sides of ribs or shoulders or upper arms, really anywhere but your lower arms and lower legs can be easily covered for work. Have fun with those!

I think it really depends on the size. If it is a very small one, I think the back of your neck or wrist could be neat. I have a friend who has a very small tattoo on her wrist, and it's placed perfectly so that a watch band will cover it for when she is at work or somewhere that isn't very tattoo friendly.
I have one on my shoulder so when I wear tank tops you can see it, and I really like that. Mine is about 3 inches wide and high.
I just looked up the symbol - that's really nice. I like it.
Good Luck!

i have three small tattoos - one on each shoulder blade and one between. I considered getting the middle one higher (on my neck) but I lowered it so I could cover it for work when I want. I'm going to be a vet so for me it's important to be able to cover any tattoos. I'm also planning three more - a large one on top of my foot, a long one across the bottom of my back and another little one kind of on my side, over the ribs. Good luck choosing a spot, love the idea behind the design - top choice!

On the back of your neck can be easily hidden by a scarf or your hair which is important if you have an office job. However considering the meaning of the tattoo, the wrist seems more intimate. You could wear a thick bracelet to hide it if neccessary.

You should put the tatoo where you think, because that is what really matters. Everyone else will give you a number of places - that is where they would like one.
Ask yourself this question: Do you want to see it day after day (on your wrist) or do you want to see it occasionally (on the back of your neck) Remember, you will have this permanetly. Me, I would want one on the back of my neck. I could put my hair up to show it when I wanted.
Best of luck with your decision.

If you have no fear, then why not have it large & on your back! Anywhere you choose will be fine with you! A "Lady" is a kept woman, so I wouldn't worry about having the opinions of the people who gave you that advice!!! Go with your first instinct & don't listen to others.....your body, your choice.

don't listen to people who think that you shouldn't get a tattoo. that is dumb, if you want one, get it. and i wouldn't go for the back of the neck because one day you will be older and will probably have short hair and i would hate to be 65 with a visible tattoo on my neck for everybody to see all the time. i have thought about getting a wrist tattoo before but i don't think i am ready for the commitment to have something so visible as well. i would go for the shoulderblade or maybe on your stomach. good luck!

I like them on the small of the back or on the hip. Employers will not always hire someone it they have tat's that show, Keep that in mind when you get this. think it will be a great symbol where ever you choose to get it.
