Do you like this guy? I'm guessing so. Just be yourself and how YOU want to be with him not how others think you should be together. The cinema is a terrible place to flirt - there's a lack of eye contact and your attention is always on the screen. Relax, enjoy the film and then do the flirting afterwards. Hold hands mean time, head on the shoulders all of that if you feel comfortable.
And let him make the first move - he's the man its his job to treat you like a lady and advance like a gent.

If he has given u the green light
do as much as u want
by the way are u 14 years old ??
if ur, ignore some of the more sexual innuendos and just be real friendly to him.
holding hands at the scarey bits is ok or the romantic bits. first kiss should probably be a friendly one, not lasting more than a heartbeat or two.
u could say to him... are u feeling warm and see if u can feel his forehead gently. that would be a nice move. then look into his eyes for a moment or two.
if u get good eye contact, this is very important. if it feels really natural and u want to smile then i am pleased for u.
I wasn't sure whether to take u seriously. apologies.
good luck, don't grow up too fast.

Don't make the first move, that seems too pushy as a girl. But as you are sitting if you can let your knee press against his leg that is good. It is probably too cold for a skirt but if you wear one let it ride up a bit so he can see some leg. If he wants to put his arm around you or steal a little kiss that is fine. If he tries to touch you any where else that is up to you.

Yes, you can lay your head on his shoulder, you can place your hand on his knee, you can grab a hold of his hand and hold it during the movie. Don't try to do too much on a first date then he may get the wrong impression, just take it slow.

Go to a romantic film (ofcourse) and lay your hand next to his (not on his!). Normally, at romantic scenes, your date'll feel to lay your hand on yours, and that's when it starts ;-)
Remember, when he doesn't take your hand in the beginning he's probably a bit shy or so, he may grab it the next romantic scene (maybe two, three)...

place your hand on his, share your candy, popcorn etc by feeding him, place your leg next to his, laugh at his jokes, if theres a crowd hold his arm to get thru, smile at him during the funny parts, touch his arm, put your arm thru him instead of fighting for the arm rest, good luck relax and things will come natural..
