it depends on your mouth and how messed up your teeth were. I have braces and ive had then since i was in 8th grade, and im a junior in high school. I was suppose to get them off last christmas and then before my junior pictures. It just takes time. It depends on what exactally needs to be fixed cause certain things take diffrent amounts of time.

If you mean how long it takes to remove them, it only takes a few minutes.
If you mean how long you have to wear them, there's no way we'd know. Everyone who has braces has to wear them for different amounts of time, depending on what you need. I had my braces for 2 years, but I've known people who've had them for a few months and others who had them for 5 or more years. If you want a projection of how long you'll have to keep your braces, you should ask your orthodontist, they're the only one who will know.

My braces were on for 20 months and my daughter had braces for 3 years. Ask you orthodontist. Be sure to wear your retainer!

Your ortho hasn't told you??? He/she should have told you how long you need to have braces for. It all depends on how much work your teeth need. Call and ask!
