You did a hole, put green peas all around the edge and fill it with ashes.
Then when the Bear bends down to take a pea, you kick him in the ash hole!!

How do you catch or kill a bear? I certainly wouldnt try to catch one without intentions of killing it, or else it will kill you first!
Just set out some bait. Bear like anything sweet. Sugar beets, etc.
I have a friend who puts out a bait pile of Twinkies (true story) works like a charm!
Be careful and be sure to get a permit or lisence first!
