oh cheap and easy.....
Chilidog Casserole.
it costs about 5 bucks and shoud feed everyone and have some leftovers.
How ever many hot dogs your family would eat combined, say 6.
6 hot dogs
6 hot dog buns
mustard
shredded cheese
2 cans of hot dog chili
butter a casserole dish. tear up the buns in little pieces and cover the bottom of the casserole. chop hotdogs into small discs and scatter over the buns. pour chili over the hot dogs. squirt a little mustard, and top with cheese.
bake at 375 for about 20-25 minutes. til bubbly. my family loves it and so does my wallet. and its so easy.

1 Smoked Sausage( I like the turkey ones) cut into bit size peices. 1 large onion cut in large chunks. About 4-5 potatoes cut in bite size chunks. small bag of baby carrots and 2 bell peppers in chunks. Toss this all with a little olive oil and seasonings of choice in a baking dish, cover with foil and bake at 375 for about 45 min to an hour. Cover with cheese for additional 5 min or so. All of the flavors mesh together, its yummy!! Oh yeah, I also throw 5-6 whole, peeled garlic cloves in the pan, they roast up really yummy! I have added zuchini before too, yum!

spaghetti w/meat sauce. Not the stuff you buy in the store but homemade sauce. canned crushed tomatoes, hamburger, garlic, oregano, basil, salt and pepper, and tomato sauce. Season it the way yo want, but it works well at our house.
