Who do you live with? Who is the parent that handles most of your upbringing? It all depends on basically who is your custodial parent?

NO! NO! In addition, NO! What do you think an older man wants with you! Listen to your father he knows about men. Do not start dating older men until you are 21 believe me I know. Wait and take your time getting to know boys your age.

it depends if your are under 19 then I can understand your Dad's concern after all he is looking out for you I would wait till your legal and tell the 19 yr old to moleste another kid not you !

i would listen to my mother cause at least one parent approve of it but if yall have a big age difference than listen to your dad

discuss it as a family. come up with rules and reasons why you think you should be allowed to date him. come up with curfews and limits. make sure they know where to contact you and how to contact you. introduce them to the guy so they at least get to talk to him for themselves. it doenst have to be formal. he could just be coming over to hang out or to drop something off for you.
