Muslims bow in reverence because people are not worthy of God's mercy. Ur obviously not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, so I'll define "reverence".
rev·er·ence (rĕv'ər-əns) n. - A feeling of profound awe and respect and often love; veneration. See synonyms at honor.
An act showing respect, especially a bow or curtsy. fear, awe, veneration. a profound emotion inspired by God; "the fear of God". regard with feelings of respect and reverence; consider hallowed or exalted or be in awe of; "Fear God as your father"; "We venerate genius".

They don't stick their a in the air. They bow down as their beliefs tell them too. Bowing is a form of respect. It sounds like that you are just looking for something to use to put some one down with.

If that's meant to be funny, you need to join comedy school. Its call prostrating. Learn to respect other faiths if you have any.

why don't u ask in a more positive, respectable manner if u really wanted 2 know. ur just tryin 2 be funnny in a sick way 2 get other ppl 2 post back crap. We go down in prostration to our Lord (allah) as he is the only one worthy of worship.

Look, I am not offended, but you truly don't understand.
You are talking about when we are prostrated to God during prayer, we recite

"Subhan ribbiyal-A-la"

This means

Glorified is my Lord the most High
we say that three times,

and your behind is supposed to be in the air, you are supposed to be prostrated, with your head down bowing to God, glorifying him.

[035:007] Those who disbelieve, theirs will be a severe torment; and those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise).

[035:008] Is he, then, to whom the evil of his deeds is made fair-seeming, so that he considers it as good (equal to one who is rightly guided)? Verily, Allâh sends astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. So destroy not yourself (O Muhammad [Peace be Upon Him]) in sorrow for them. Truly, Allâh is All-Knower of what they do!
