Can I take a cake on a flight to Hawaii for the holidays with the new rules in affect?

I don't believe that you can take a cake on the aircraft with you. The only food you can take has to be bought after the security gates. If you look on the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ they have the complete list of what you can and can not bring of the aircraft with you.

the ONLY way to take food in is if u buy it @ the airport AFTER u get scanned. Sorry. Good Luck. God Bless!!
