I Have a 6 month year old american bulldog. I need to know how much hard or soft food i should feed it. Thanks

As much as it will eat in ten minutes, twice per day. (dry food)
One and a half cans, twice per day if feeding canned canned..

There should be a guide on the back of the bag of food. I would start there and monitor his weight (to make sure he's gaining a normal amount). The amount you have to feed varies with the brand. Make sure you're feeding him puppy food! You shouldn't have to feed him any soft food at all--the dry food should be just fine. You can supplement his diet with soft food if you want, but at this point, he should be just fine with the hard stuff. Sometimes too much soft food will cause diarhea.

I do not feed wet dog food to any dog after the age of a few weeks. I do not like the fact that wet food gets stuck in the dogs teeth, which can cause all types of problems, much like the ones we humans get. Dry dog food is the best.

I buy the packages of Mighty Dog. And gave my dog one in the morning and one at night. Some people give a whole can at one feeding, I found the dog got very sick and unable to function properly.

Too much wet food gives dogs [any breeds] diarrhea.

OK. FOR PUPPIES WHAT U DONT WANT TO DO IS FOLLOW THE BACK OF THE BAG.THAT IT MAKE THEM FAT, U DON'T WANT THAT-BAD FOR THERE HEART. FEED 1 CUP IN THE A.M AND 1 CUP IN THE P.M ..GIVE HIM SOFT FOOD FIRST..THEN WHEN HIS TEETH GET STRONGER SWITCH TO HARD FOOD BY MIXING IN THE WET OTHERWISE HE MAY GET DIARREAHA..ONCE HE EATS THE HARD, MIX WITH WATER SO THAT WHEN IT EXPANDS IN HIS STOMACH IT WON'T CLUMP UP AND CAUSE THIS THING CALLED "BLOAT". WITCH CAN KILL A DOG. THE WATER HELPS TO EXPAND THE FOOD ALREADY BEFORE HE EATS IT--EASIER DIGSTION!!
