You should be safe. If anything, you should watch for shifty people onboard. Don't be prejudiced and look at some Middle Eastern looking person and shout, "Terrorist!" However, watch out for whoever you may be flying with.

Anyway, I think you're more likely to hit the jackpot in Vegas than to have a terrorist aboard your plane. Anyway... Have a good flight!

It's very unlikely, but in the end you're responsible for your own safety. Before I fly, I look over every person waiting to get on the same plane I'm flying on. If I see anyone who fits the demographic of a terrorist, I will reschedule my flight for later that day. So far, I've been pretty comfortable with my original fellow passengers.

And to people who are going to try to infer any supposed "bigotry" or prejudice in my post, let me just say this: I'd rather be wrong than dead.

There is a higher chance that a horse will randomly break through your window and eat your hair. Seriously the chances are verryy little. Whens the last time theres been a terrorist taking over a plane in the USA? like 4-5 years..

The chances are better that a horse will break through your window and eat your hair. I like that.

The US media is doing everyone a major disservice by scaring the wits out of most everyone. Homeland Security and the TSA are jokes, and are making mountains out of imagined molehills.

Go, fly, enjoy, relax

I wouldn't worry at all, but if you see anything suspicious, please report it to the agent at the gate or airport security. Once I was waiting for a connecting flight, and there was a very suspicious guy being screened by men at the gate with hand held metal detectors. It kept beeping and flashing and his hands were suspicously under his jacket. I went to the gate agent and told him I refused to get on the plane with that suspicious looking guy. They called me aside privately and told me that he was a prisoner being transported with Federal Marshalls. After that, for some reason, I felt OK about it and got on the plane.
