I have curly short hair, when it grows it grows into an afro kinda thing, I wanna make it look emoish how can i do this.

Do something really wacky with it...dye it all one colour, then add flashes of another colour. Buy some straightners and straighten it sometimes, but i would suggest leaving it natural. Cut bits, add extensions etc etc...remember its your hair, do what you want with it...dont listen to us, cuz i personally am not into the emo style

Spike it out with Knocks Gelatin.
Just take a bowl, dump in a packet of unflavored gelatin.
Add a small amount of hot water
Mix with a utensil that you don't mind throwing away
Have a friend pull your hair into spikes
Then while you friend is holding the spike of hair up with one hand
Have them blow dry it till it hardens up.
Repeat until you have Emo Porcupine Head
This will turn your hair into the strength of cartilage.
And then you will have emo hair
If you let this grow and throw away your comb, the will turn to dreads
Dreads are kind of hippie unless you dye them black or red.
Then dreads can be emo too
When they are still mini dreads blond is kinda goth too.

You need to use straighteners on curly hair to get that sort of effect, and perhaps anti-frizz lotion. Even guys without curly hair use straighteners to get that look. Also, dying it black may help. But if I was you, just leave it. There's probably a lot better things you can spend your money on.

take some hair wax and rub it through when its wet, and the style it pulling it straight forward. it will dry less curly, and look really emo and cool.

okay, all my friends who have straight, "emo hair have naturally curly hair. they seriously damage their hair by putting product in it and burning their hair straight. then they don't was it so that they don't have to spend hours re-straightening it every day.
so, just buy a hair straightener and some straightening gel. if you have money to throw away, look into japanese hair straightening.

Don't go emo - i know some emos and all they really do all day is sit in their room, not talking to their family. But whatever. if you have to, dye it black, cut it yourself and straighten it.
