This ticket for expired license plates is on the books in Flagstaff AZ. The ticketed vehicle was a motorcycle.
I went to get a drivers license in another state and they said my license is suspended in Arizona. I have never even lived in Arizona nor have I ever had a license to operate a motorcycle. If you were on the jury how would you judge this case. Oh yeah , I requested and recieved a copy of the ticket. the license plate number as written by the officer is unreadable.

I doubt there would or even could be a jury trial on something as simple as this.

If you were riding a motorcycle in Flagstaff AZ 22 years ago, and got a ticket that you subsequently ignored, clear it up by paying the ticket.

If you weren't, find something proving you weren't. Show, for example, by a payroll record that you were at work on the time and date of the ticket in another state miles away.

When I tried to renew my license in Maryland, I was told I needed to clear up a violation in North Carolina first. I hadn't been to NC for years, and then only driving through.

It ended up being a completely different person with my name. Fortunately, the SSN on the violation was different, and it was cleared up pretty easily. Well, it took some phone calls and some time to swin through the red tape, but easy compared to what I thought it was going to take.

Your situation sounds similar. Probably a case of mistaken identity. Find a comfortable chair, have a beverage and a snack ready, and xall your local DMV/MVA customer service line. Hopefully they can clear yours up like they did mine.

You probably have a name similar to another person who committed those misdemeanors.
The burden of proof lies with you. Dig up a few things to prove that you were in another state wt the time you said they claimed you were in Arizona.
Protesting is not enough unfortunately. Dig up proof of residency, receipts, old creditcard bills, pictures etc.
Sometime the law is an $#%.
