this is all a merchandising and marketing scam in my opinion. on condition that warm canine are available in applications of 8, the makers of warm canine buns desperate to sell them in applications of 6. this type you often have 2 left over warm canine and desire extra buns. Thats basically my opinion however.

Because it's an unwritten law that you will screw up at least two of the buns when cutting the slit for the hot dog weiner.

I can't find packages of 10 hot dogs anymore. They've made them 8, but sure haven't lowered the price any.
